A state full of hardworking, generous, driven people; home to some of the greatest entrepreneurs in the world.
We love our families and would give the shirts off our backs to help those in need.
But for too long, Arkansas’s policies have not aligned with our unique way of life.
State government has punished hard work and rewarded dependency.
It’s made us uncompetitive with states around us and eroded families.
And it’s taken the place of private charity, community, and work.
This misalignment has been holding us back for generations. We’ve been in desperate need for real change.
And now, we’re finally starting to get it.
Opportunity Arkansans is creating real change.
In just our first two years, we’ve helped usher in a new era of conservative progress–at a record pace. And we’re doing it without losing sight of who we are as a people.
Reduced state income taxes by nearly $1 billion, lowering the top rate from 4.9 percent to 3.9 percent;
Ushered in a new era of universal education freedom through the LEARNS Act
Helped craft and passed the historic Protect Arkansas Act, which curtails the failed, dangerous “catch-and-release” policies of our corrections system;
For most, that would be a lot,
but Opportunity Arkansas accomplished so much more.
Helped reform out-of-date, onerous training requirements for foster families by half to help kids in need
Reformed cash welfare by reducing dependency on cash benefits
Defeated wasteful expansions of Medicaid and food stamps

We are showing what’s possible when Arkansans from every corner of the state work together to solve generational problems.
And we aren’t done. Not by a long shot.
