Opportunity Arkansas Applauds New Pick for Corrections Secretary

CONWAY, AR — Nic Horton, Founder and CEO of Opportunity Arkansas, offered the following statement shortly after Governor Sanders announced Lindsay Wallace to serve as Secretary of the Department of Corrections:

“We applaud Governor Sanders’s decision to appoint Lindsay Wallace as the next Secretary of the Department of Corrections. Lindsay knows we must prioritize Arkansas victims and the safety of all Arkansans. I’m confident that under her leadership, with grit and dedication, we will finally end our Corrections crisis that is threatening our way of life. We welcome her fresh approach and look forward to working with her to end our crime crisis once and for all.”
